The Mall, Designer Shopping Near Florence, Tuscany
The Mall is a large designer shopping outlet centre near the Incisa exit of the A1 motorway south of Florence in Tuscany. It’s a relatively easy drive from most of our villas on the Tuscany Umbria border, but be warned, if you are a serious shopping junkie, you may end up spending the whole day there. I heard about a group from Singapore who hired a bus and planned to visit Florence afterwards, needless to say, they didn’t make it past The Mall!

If you normally buy clothes from high street chain stores, you may baulk at the the prices, in the Prada store I wasn’t tempted to spend over €600 on coats reduced from over €1000! However, bargain hunters are best off going for the sales from the second week in July until the end of the first week in September or in January when the discounted prices are slashed further.
With our limited budget we found some real bargains in the Diesel shop and bought some reasonably priced kids clothes from Stella McCartney as presents for our god children. Satisfied with our haul of goodies, we headed back to the Tuscany Umbria border.
