Mirabilandia Theme Park
Mirabilandia is an amusement park on the Adriatic coast near Ravenna. It has roller coasters and other rides that are equal to anywhere in the world and a visit there is a great family day out. I love going there and have become a roller coaster addict as a result of several visits, my favourites are the adrenaline inducing I-speed at Katoun roller coasters.

Good Value, World Class Rides
The last time we went the entrance fee cost under €30 for an adult which seems very reasonable when you compare it to other amusement parks around the world.

Getting There From The Tuscany Umbria Border
Depending on which of our properties you stay at it takes one and a half to two and a half hours to get there. It is very popular so worth avoiding weekends if you don’t want to spend too much time in queues. Until our last visit I had never tried the Space Shuttle themed giant towers that bounce you up and down in a most alarming manner, needless to say, I’ll be trying this again the next time.

The great thing about an amusement park in southern Europe is that you can go on the water rides without having to worry about getting cold. There are some very good shows that you can see included in the entrance fee, in previous visits we’ve really enjoyed the police show which involves a lot of stunt driving and the diving show which involves some alarmingly high altitude dives.
