Umbertide Swimming Pool
In the heat of the summer, we usually spend a lot of time at the public swimming pool in Umbertide, our local Umbrian town. The pool is near the Coop supermarket which you are almost certain to visit if you stay at one of Gorgacce Rentals Villas In The Niccone Valley. Our villas all have pools, but none have a giant water slide!
The Water Slide
The Umbertide pool has a giant outdoor water slide. To use the slide you take an inflatable ring (single or double) and walk up the path to the top. Once at the top, you sit in the ring and push off, rapidly accelerating through the curves of the chute. Once under a jet of water you take a final curve and come to a halt in a giant splash of water. Time for another go!
